A super group of people like you helped make it possible for outdoor adventurers like me to ride the Accessibility Trail here in Mt. Tom State Reservation, Holyoke, MA. Thanks to people like you a smooth and fun-to-ride trail now extends along Lake Bray to the new 55 foot bridge behind me that they built. I’d love to be able to chair-ride with friends all the way around Lake Bray. With help from you and your friends, me and mine, we can make it happen. Want to know more? E-mail me at

Mountain Park

Mountain Park Gate
The historically famous Mountain Park has come back to life as a summer outdoor musical amphitheater. Opening in 1894 as a summer retreat and evolving into one of New England’s most beautiful and loved amusement parks, Mountain Park drew huge crowds. It was the place to be with family and friends. One is urged to read about this history in books like that of Jay Ducharme who was an employee of Mountain Park and is an fan of amusement parks. The above picture is landscaping just outside the entry gate.  Image courtesy of friends of the Mt. Tom Range.
