Looking out over Lake Bray from the Warming Hut, its name is a throwback dating from the original hut. Back. then winters were much colder and lasted far longer than today. Ice skating, day and under lights at night, was popular. Fishing is still enjoyed, as is picnicing on the hut’s surrounding lawn. Across from nearby Cascade Brook is parking, a Kiosk, and the starting point for hike options. The Kiosk highlights facts about plant and animal life and has a QR code to download the reservation’s trail map. The hut has his and her bathrooms and is open year round.
